At the end of the course unit students should be able to;
1. Understanding strategic thinking as a skill and competency which needs to develop with in professionals.
2. Build the strategic relationship between Vision, Mission, Values, Objectives and Stakeholders.
3. Understanding and practicing commonly used strategic thinking frameworks.
4. Conducting effective strategy communicating meetings.
5. Understanding decision making process and integrate with strategic thinking.
6. Using SWOT, PEST analysis as tools for efficient strategic thinking supportive tools.
7. Understanding how to use Porters five force analysis and forecasting for strategy development
8. Effective use of Tools, Techniques and critical skills required for and assist in strategic thinking and strategy implementation
Describe and understand tactical execution of strategy1. identify the basic concepts of human resource management,
2. prepare necessary plans/documents relating to the human resource management,
3. recognize the importance of collaboration with others, in the development, implementation, performance and direction of the organizational activities towards the set targets,
4. relate the classroom learning by applying the gathered knowledge into real world business problems
5. relate the human resource components with marketing activities.
